 Alberta Prairie offers an exciting one day adventure on board a real steam or diesel-powered train. Different themes are enacted throughout the season, including murder mysteries, family, dinner theatre, seniors and teddy bear specials. Excursions depart from the station in Stettler and return about 5 or 6 hours later. You'll enjoy the beautiful landscapes of the Heart of Alberta on your trip, as well as a buffet dinner, onboard entertainment and maybe even a holdup! Most trips go south to Big Valley and a full 2008 schedule and other information on excursions can be found here. Alberta Prairie also operate a Wagon Train adventure operation.  The Wagon Train excursions travel north on the old rail right of way and pass through the Village of Donalda. More information on Alberta Prairie Wagon Train adventures can be found here |
