The deadline for entries in the Stettler & District Music is Thursday, January 31st.

The Stettler & District Music Festival takes place from April 4 through 12 with the Grand Concert taking place on April 15th.

The new 2008 provincial syllabus can be obtained online at www.albertamusicfestival.org and local addendums are available at Pfeiffer's House of Music.  Entry forms and more information can also be obtained from Pfeiffer's House of Music on Main Street in Stettler.

A Valentine's Brunch will be held at the Bashaw Community Centre on Sunday, February 3rd from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Menu includes Pancakes, Sausage, Eggs, Crepes, Strawberries, Whipped Cream, Coffee, Tea and Juice.

The First Annual Donalda Ducks Unlimited Supper Auction Event will be held at the Donalda Community Hall on February 16th.  Cocktails at 5:30 p.m. and supper at 7.  Meal is catered by Teresa's Catering.  There will be door prizes, raffles and silent & live auctions.

The Donalda Men's Bonspiel is coming up in February.  Book your teams in early! The Donalda Men's Bonspiel is coming up soon.  The Bonspiel will be held at the Donalda Curling Club (southeast corner of Foster St. and Alberta avenue intersection) February 4th  through 9th.  Book your teams early by calling Mike Mueller at 883-2469 or Paul McKay at 883-2168.

The Donalda Drop-in Centre will be holding it's annual Pancake Supper on Tuesday, February 5th from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.   The Drop-in Centre is located at 5029 Main St., Donalda.

Come out for an excellent meal of Pancakes, Eggs and Sausage.

On Saturday January 26 there will be a meeting of the Big Valley Committe of the Canadian Northern Society at 1 p.m. in the Big Valley Railway Station.  All members and supporters are invited to help plan for the upcoming maintenance and preservation needs for the Big Valley railway station and roundhouse.

Come join the Donalda & District Museum Society for a Potluck Supper at the Donalda Community Hall on Saturday, February 9th at 5:30 p.m.  The Society invites you to come and see its' innovative plan to sustain Donalda's community heritage.  All you have to do is bring a dish to the potluck supper.
